Our new Media Production Teen Camp provides Teens with an opportunity to explore various forms of media including photography, videography, and creative writing in a high-tech, supportive, and inclusive environment.
About Media Production Teen Camp
Media Production Teen Camp is a new camp experience that puts campers at the leading edge of the exciting and innovating digital media industry. Campers will learn to use professional equipment such as cameras and camcorders, computer editing software, audio recording software, lights, and more. The program will lead youth through the many aspects of media and video production. Specialist instructors will guide and mentor campers through various activities while assisting them as they apply their newly-learned skills to the creation of culminating media projects. Campers will gain confidence, social skills, and team-working abilities as they collaborate with their peers to take inspiration from production to presentation. Teens who participate in this camp will have the opportunity to take part in several different activities, including but not limited to:
- Scripting, Storytelling, and Storyboard Creation
- Basics of Video Production
- Camera/Camcorder Techniques
- Lighting Techniques
- Interviewing Techniques
- Writing, Proofreading, and Editing
- Visual Journalism
- Social Media Literacy and Safety
- Audio/Microphone Techniques
- Multimedia Reporting Techniques
- Special Effects
Age & Eligibility
Campers must be ages 12 to age 14 by June 1, 2025.

Extended Care Options
Rest easy knowing that you have some extra time to get through traffic, finish a few errands, or pick up dinner before you pick up your camper(s). Morning Extended Care is included in the price of camp.
- Morning Extended Care: 7:30 – 9:00am
- Afternoon Extended Care: 4:00 – 6:00pm
