Girls Intermediate & Advanced - Recreation & Wellbeing

These classes are for gymnasts who have mastered all their basic skills and are ready for the next level of skills and tumbling on all four events.

Girls Intermediate

This class is designed for the gymnasts displaying skills with consistency, enthusiasm, and motivation. Students advance to this level after mastering the required skills from Girls Beginning 3. Gymnasts begin learning more advanced skills, connecting advanced skills in a sequence, and performing these skills at a more independent level.

Eligibility

Prerequisite: Successful completion of all Girls Beginning 3 skills. If moving from an outside gym, students can be assessed for a level recommendation.

Price

Once per week: $125 per month (approximately) See Billing info below

Next Level

Gymnast move to Girls Advanced after the successful acquisition of all required skills, and continued positive work ethic.

Girls Advanced

The final step in the recreational track is Girls Advanced. Gymnasts continue improving skills already gained, connecting skills together, and mastering some of the most difficult skills for recreational gymnasts. This class is taught by experienced coaches and demands a great level of attention to detail.

Eligibility

Prerequisite: Successful completion of all Girls Intermediate skills

Price

Once per week: $150 per month (approximately) See Billing info below

Billing and Cancellations (new)

In CampDoc you will be given the option to either pay in full for the year or to do a payment plan. The price works out to roughly the same as you have been paying but days off are now factored in.

We are requiring 2 weeks written notice to cancel and/or refund payments.

Example-

Gymnast is in BC1 Saturday 9am and has chosen to pay $810 for the year (this is for 31 Saturday classes). On December 27th, we received a written notice that you wish to discontinue. This means that the cancellation will be effective on January 10th. There are 18 classes left. We will refund the card on file for $470.32 (810/31 x 18).

Make-ups-

We will still provide make-ups if currently enrolled and space is available. Please arrange for make-ups by emailing gbgym@berkeley.edu. We thank everyone in advance for their patience as we transition to a new system.

Every Golden Bears Youth Gymnastics class is subject to cancellation due to low enrollment. If your class is being canceled, you will be contacted and given options to transfer. If you have any questions, please email gbgym@berkeley.edu.

Waitlist

If you are interested in a class that is full, please email gbgym@berkeley.edu to be placed on the waitlist. If a spot opens, you will be informed via email.

Golden Bear Make-Up Policy

Make-ups are provided as a courtesy to our customers if there is space available. Make-ups must be scheduled by emailing gbgym@berkeley.edu. Make-ups are only available to currently enrolled clients. Drop-ins are not allowed. Golden Bears Youth Gymnastics does not offer credits or refunds.
