Leadership Training

Strawberry Canyon Camp has a Junior High and High School Leadership-to-Work Program that provides kids with an opportunity to learn outstanding leadership skills that can be applied to all aspects of life.

There are three levels in this program:

• Campers in Leadership Training (Grades 8-10) (CILT Flyer)
• Counselors in Training (Grades 9-11)
• Junior Counselor (Grades 10-12)

Participants in the Campers in Leadership Training are considered campers and pay a fee to take part in the program.  Counselors in Training are volunteers, and do not have to pay a fee.  Junior Counselors are staff members; there are both volunteer and paid positions at this level.  In order to progress through the leadership training levels, individuals must receive recommendations from staff and program supervisors.
