Skateboarding Programs

Our Skate Camp provides a skater the experience of riding a variety of ramps and street obstacles from 3’ to 13’ tall in a nationally recognized skateboard program that is a pioneer in skateboard instruction and design. All of our programs are grounded in exclusive skateboard curricula. The level of instruction and supervision varies with the specific program. These camps and clinics are a great introduction for the first-time skater as well as the advanced skater. Get the chance to ride with other skaters your own age while learning new tricks. Meet local sponsored and pro skateboarders as they visit camp and do demos.

Camp Details
The skate facility is located at the Golden Bear Recreation Center just above the Clark Kerr Campus at UC Berkeley. It is located on Sports Lane at the very top of Dwight Way.
Staff
Our expert instructors have over 15 years of skating experience with over seven years teaching youth skateboarding and snowboarding. They are part of our staff training program, are certified in First Aid and CPR, and have been fingerprinted and have gone through a background check. Responsible skating is stressed in every lesson.
Equipment
Participants must bring their own skateboard, helmet, knee, & elbow pads. Equipment must fit properly and be of good quality for the camper to skate in our programs. Due to our rigorous safety standards and instructional content, skaters will not be allowed to skate with the low-cost boards and pads typically found at toy stores or other large general merchandise retailers.
Extended Care
If your child needs supervision outside of our regularly scheduled hours, sign up for our Extended Care program. Our staff engages campers in active or quiet play during our morning (7:30 — 9:00A) and evening (4:00 — 5.30P) Extended Care programs.
Need extended care for just one day? No need to pre-enroll. Simply complete a short form and submit it along with your payment to the Skate Camp office on the morning of that day. Price: $15 per session.
