Where do the proceeds go?

A portion of the proceeds benefit the Cal Recreational Sports Summer Youth Camp scholarship fund as well as Cal Alumni Association's student programs and services. Last year's auction provided over 50 weeks of summer youth camp scholarships for deserving bay area families and vital funding for Cal Alumni student programs. This year our need to support these programs is greater than ever!

The auction is open to the entire Cal Community and beyond! Register today and bid away!

How do I register to bid on the auction?

To start bidding today, register by clicking 'Sign In' on the upper right hand side of any item catalog page or click here to begin NOW!

Is my information secure?

Yes. For the security of the bidder while visiting the auction, cMarket uses VeriSign. To view more information about VeriSign, go to the item pages and click on the VeriSign logo. Also, no information that is exchanged in the auction is released to any third party.

When will I be notified that I am a winning bidder?

  • Winners will be notified via e-mail within 24 hours after the auction ends, no later than Tuesday, November 17 at 5pm. The confirmation email contains important information regarding payment and shipping. Please check your Spam folder if you have not received the confirmation email to your Inbox by Tuesday, November 17 at 5pm.
  • The CONFIRMATION EMAIL will provide you with details on how to receive your item. Please pay close attention to the special restrictions section of your confirmation email as it may contain details specific to your item such as required pick-up or required shipping.
  • If you would like to PICK-UP your item, please confirm your pick-up time by emailing calbearsauction@berkeley.edu no later than Wednesday, November 18 at 5pm or you will be assessed the applicable shipping and handling charges specific to your item.
  • PAYMENT - The credit card entered online will be charged in the amount of your purchase.

We are constantly looking for new items to feature on our auction. Not only will you be supporting a worthwhile cause but, your products and services will be showcased in front of the entire Cal Community.
