"Working at Explorer Camp is the best summer employment that one can find: playing in the sun with cute kids, multiple snack-breaks, and enthusiastic co-workers. I can't wait to come back and see what this next summer has to offer!" -- Athalia

"I love coming to work at camp every year because I enjoy making an impact on the children, as well as giving them the skills to have a well rounded and successful future. It is a place where I had a great time as a child and I want to make it as fun and enjoyable for other kids like it was when I was their age."  -- Ken

"Working at Strawberry Canyon was a great summer job because of the fun environment and wonderful staff. The camp is very organized and any need that a counselor or instructors has gets handled right away!"  -- Kristi

"There's a great sense of camaraderie among the counselors. The coordinators, while also incredibly friendly, are also very professional and communicate staff expectations extremely well. The camp has been around for a while now and it shows in the organization of activities. And of course, what could be better than working outside in the sunshine all day, playing games with kids."  -- Lucie

"Blue Camp was the best. It's an organized, fun, energetic and encouraging atmosphere to work in. I dread the end of summer, not only because I have to go back to school, but also that camp ends. On top of being able to teach and play with incredible kids, the staff becomes great friends. Some of my best friends are people who I first met on staff." -- Carrie

"I love working at Blue Camp because you get to work with cute little kids and teach them valuable skills and lessons that they will use for the rest of their lives. It's a friendly, relaxed atmosphere and every single staff member is supportive of each other and the campers. Also, there are a wide range of activities that you can teach (and who doesn't love sports?) -- Alyse

"Cal camps utilizes my passion for teaching sports, in a fun and very enthusiastic setting. The people are awesome! We work hard together and we play hard together, it's the perfect summer! I've made some awesome friends with the kids and the staff" -- Mark

"I love to play sports. A great part about Blue camp is that you can share that love with kids by teaching them how to play the right way. My fondest memories are of kids making spectacular plays in all sorts of sports and kids who didn't know how to play a sport before camp started ending a two-week session with some great skills that they learned. I think that it is important that camp keeps teaching the kids sports as its main objective. Staff should be skilled teachers, not trained baby sitters, and while I think that the camp may have moved a little in that direction the past few years, overall teaching at camp is at a high level. In my six years working for Blue Camp I've worked with many people who would make great coaches. I work for CAL camp because I love coaching and teaching. It's also pretty nice to be able to spend your summers outdoors." -- Ryan

"No matter how bad a day you might be having, the kids you take care of do enough cute, charming things to make you feel like you are indeed making a difference." -- Nick
