Job Description
Provide front line cashiering services for the Recreational Sports Facility, Strawberry Canyon Rec Area, and Golden Bear Rec Center. Disseminate up-to-date, often-changing information; sell memberships, classes, massages; collect payments and dues. You’ll also file, answer phones, provide clerical support and excellent customer service. Must attend occasional cashier meetings. Requires a minimum availability of one weekend shift and one opening/closing shift per week. Equal Opportunity Employment.
Qualifications
Must be a currently registered UCB student, preferably not a graduating senior. Cashiering, customer service, and computer experience preferred. Must work well under pressure in a fast paced environment and have great problem solving skills. Candidates may be subject to background check and fingerprinting.
- Pay Rate: $11.15/hr
- Work Hours: Variable (during school year, 19.75/wk max)
